System for the environmentally friendly regeneration of process solutions

Crystallization is an economical and environmentally friendly method of regenerating process solutions. Application fields practically exist in all process solutions from which metal enrichments or other disturbing substances may be removed through the process of cooling crystallization.

General process description of plants for the regeneration of process solutions

The regeneration of etching and caustic solutions containing sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide for copper and copper alloys, for printed circuits and for tubes and other semi-finished products. Crystallization of CuSO4 x 5 H2O (copper sulphate). Regeneration of cyanidic electrolytes for zinc,cadmium or copper deposition. Decomposition of the constantly forming sodium carbonate Na2CO3 x 10H2O. Regeneration of iron liquor on the basis of sulfuric acid by crystallization of iron sulphate FeSO4 x 7H2O. With the regeneration of the process solutions, which is done without any chemicals and without essential energy consumption, decontamination and neutralization of the concentrated spent solution involving the emission of pollutants and new preparations are avoided. The system operates continuously and automatically.
